Sic 'em, boy!
In Israel, there was appreciation for the tough U.S. stand. Israel has "a long list of issues we are thinking of demanding of the Syrians, and it would be best done through the Americans," Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz said in an interview with Israel's Maariv newspaper.
In particular, he said, Israeli wants the Syrian-backed terrorist group Hezbollah dismantled in Lebanon and an end to Damascus's assistance to the Islamic Resistance Movement, known as Hamas, and Islamic Jihad.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: You absolutely can't beat having your own pet superpower. It's like having an armored Rottweiler . . .
