Life Imitates Art

jackass.gif

I just hope they don't make a sequel.

Update 9/15 10:40 AM ET: It seems Andy Borowitz is on the story, too. (Thanks to tom for the tip.)

mr. bill, you are pretty funny.

Thanks for this! It's pretty clear to me that the only way I'm going to keep my sanity until these jackasses are out of power is to have a good laugh once in a while.

I'm working on some sub-titles, but so far I've only got two- "say cheese: revenge of the basket case" & "animal house on the highway to hell: a tale of two yale dropouts" (bush and chaney).

As the picture was loading I thought the movie would be "Bum Fights."

I'm trying to make out what's blowing up in the background...

It's either the economy or the whole damn country.

Nice Photoshop work, though...

Mark Fiore has done a cartoon on this same sbuject. You can see it at www.markfiore.com/animation/real.html : "iraqass: the movie." Made November 6, 2002.

Why is Bush groping Condi's boob? Is it Arnold envy?

Posted by: Rick in Davis at September 14, 2003 11:14 PM

Who's the white haired guy behind Bush and next to Colon (sic)?

Posted by: j at September 14, 2003 11:25 PM

Dick Cheney as Wee Man? Hey, it works.

Who's the white haired guy behind Bush and next to Colon

Dick Myers, Chairman of the JCS.

I've actually got a cartoon like this somewhere that I printed off the Net called "Jackass: The Foreign Policy." Pretty much the same deal, though some of the characters are in different spots on the poster. Rumsfeld is most prominent in the one I found, not Bush. Bush is in Cheney's spot, looking like a little kid wailing because his balloon got popped.

The Borowitz Report

In a certain masochistic way, I love this cartoon. The joy on the faces of this motley crew is something to behold.

Future historians are going to label us all dimwitted at best and cowards at worst. Thank God for the Billmon Blog! Hope lingers on in the brilliance of B.'s articles and the marvelous connecting threads.

Re the Cheney picture. "This is how much I care for you pinko progressives."

This is simply brilliant!

This is somewhat old, folks -- it was making rounds last year. Not to steal Billmon's thunder, but it's not his creation.

That being said, it still makes me chuckle. Thanks for digging it up, Billmon.

It may not be an original idea, but it is my creation, Scott. I didn't just "dig it up."
