He should know.

LOL, funny you should say that, I just saw him in the BBC with that quote, and that was my immediate and precise thought.

Big flood coming, lotta shit to sweep away.

I heard that quoted on the radio this morning as I drove to work and I became quietly incensed. Bush's credibility (and probably the credibility of the whole country for years to come) as a broker of peace is nil. I know that the U. S. has assumed a tacit responsibility for trying to further the cause of peace between Israel and Palestine, but I don't that this gang of thugs in office is competent to referee a softball game much less try to intercede between Palestine and Israel. In this case the Bush administration would serve the cause of peace best by shutting up and staying the f**k out of the way.

Yes, LOL

This time in bed has served you well!!

Careful, Bush, a French commando team might decide to swoop in and kidnap you and drop you off at the North Pole where you can't threaten the world anymore.

No shit! And it's not as if Ariel Sharon has shined, other than in the eyes of the Likudniks.

Instead of the badly needed even-handed approach advocated by Dean, the Palestinians get nothing but the back of Bush's hand.

Time for a regime change.

what? You can dispute taste?

"The people of the Palestinian territory must understand if they want peace, they must have leadership who is absolutely 100 percent committed to fighting off terror," Bush said.

It certainly would be novel to have one of those leaders.

Irony is making a comeback.

Or as my friend from Channelview usd to say, "Now that's the pot calling the pot a pot."

When Bush tells King Abdullah of Jordan, during a joint press conference, Arafat "failed as a leader", does it occur to him that :

The population of Jordan is roughly half Palestinian and Yasser Arafat is a hero to many even though Jordan is one of the few Arab states to make peace with Israel.

That's Shrub at diplomacy. What a fucking idiot.

Besides the pathetic remark by Bush, what astonished me the most was how much more eloquent and well-spoken King Abdullah was, compared to Bush. Seeing the two side by side left an impression of Bush as totally retarded.
