Winning what? The lottery? Experience?

I've noticed something rather disturbing in your posts, Billmon. Repeatedly making fun of our leaders by quoting them back to themselves or, worse, quoting their predecessors to show that they aren't even original in their stupidity seems a little too merciless. Isn't their a "cruel and unusual" prohibition in the constitution of the blogworld?

That Col. Custer you quote, would he be the same fellow who said that taking Gatling guns on what turned out to be his last trip would slow him down too much?

Hey, at least they still conside the Iraqis and the Coalition to be on the same side, that says something, I think??? Doesn't it ???
Can the Iraqis win if the Coalition wins, or is that mutually exclusive now????

It is just as mutually exclusive now as it has always been. The so-called "coalition" has never had the interests of the Iraqis in mind.
